Yesterday New Providence hosted its Annual Heritage Festival. Despite the rain in the early morning, many people came for the parade and the events after.
"I thought that the turnout was better than the last few years so that was encouraging." Andrea an event planner said, "People of all ages seemed to enjoy the activities and it was fun to see so many people from several other communities."
They had plenty of events for the kids, like a bouncy house, face painting, a bike rodeo, and many more events. They also had a dodgeball tournament and firemen supper. The planning committee will meet and start planning for next year. They have a few new, fun ideas for next year.
