UPDATE: Structure Fire North East of Eldora

Don't feel alarmed if you continue to see smoke north east of Eldora. "Its going to smoke for days" Eldora fire Chief says. The home owner passed away last month and the son didn't know what was in the barn, losing most of everything.

About 10 this morning there was a dispatched call for a lawn mower fire, that they assume caught the barn on fire. Eldora, Steamboat Rock, Wellsburg, Union, Whitten fire departments responded. Also Eldora EMS was on scene. "They always get dispatched for safety for any structure fire." the Eldora Fire Chief said.

This is a different fire then the one early this morning that was North of Whitten.

With high winds and dry conditions is a perfect storm for fire to start and get out of control quickly.
