Whitten Fire Department Annul Soup Supper

Last night, March 13 the Whitten fire department hosted their annul soup supper to raise funds for new bunker gear, air packs and Oxygen tanks but the Whitten fire department didn't do this just to raise funds.

"We do this not only to raise funds but also get people together" Whitten Fire Chief, Larry says, " and after this last year, people need to get together again."

Being in a small community, doing small events like this are vital for the community to continue to have support. The fire department plans to host another even come July.
